Tony Schirmang, CFP®

Vice President, Wealth Consultant

Tony Schirmang is a Wealth Consultant working directly with select high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and families, institutions, trusts, endowments, and foundations. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner with 14 years of industry experience, Tony is driven by his passion to help clients find tailored solutions for managing their wealth and achieving lifetime and multi-generational financial success.

Tony’s distinguished background spans wealth management, business development, and alternative investment strategies. Prior to joining Calamos, he served as a Wealth Advisor with Corient, where he developed comprehensive wealth management solutions for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. His experience includes serving as Regional Vice President with Polaris Wealth Advisory (now RWA Wealth), where he successfully built out the firm’s Chicagoland business development efforts through the Schwab Advisory Network while maintaining his advisory practice. Earlier in his career, Tony served as Vice President of Investor Relations with Origin Investments, helping RIAs incorporate real estate and alternative investments into client portfolios, and spent five years at Nuveen assisting financial advisors at major wirehouse firms in building sophisticated portfolios for their clients.

His diverse experience across traditional and alternative investments, combined with his business development expertise, enables Tony to deliver innovative wealth management strategies while understanding the operational and strategic aspects of growing a successful advisory practice. This comprehensive perspective, along with his CFP® certification, positions him to address the complex financial planning needs of sophisticated clients while identifying opportunities others might overlook.

He is a graduate of Miami University (Ohio), having earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business in 2008.
