Marc Ordona is a Vice President and Senior Wealth Consultant at Calamos Wealth Management in New York City. He brings over twenty years of experience in investment and wealth management, investment banking, and global capital markets advisory. Marc joined Calamos from Lido Advisors, where he served as a Director and Senior Wealth Manager, spearheading Lido’s physical presence within the New York metropolitan region. Prior to Lido, Marc was with Morgan Stanley in its New York City global headquarters, advising ultra-high net worth investors, family offices, corporations, and institutions. Before that, he spent several years in Shanghai, China, managing a portfolio of global assets, leveraging his years of prior capital markets experience at firms including UBS, Credit Suisse, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Marc holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, and the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the CMT Association. He is a member of CFA New York and CFA China societies, also serving in CFA New York’s Private Wealth Management, International Investing and Sustainable Investing leadership groups. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, is a published scientific researcher, and attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University for studies in Chinese language, business, and culture.
Marc resides in Manhattan with his family, where he is active in the community and enjoys athletics, travelling, reading, and recreational flying. He is a FAA licensed private pilot and a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
