Alex Calamos serves as a Wealth Advisor for Calamos Wealth Management (CWM), working closely with individuals and families to help them navigate the intricacies of their financial lives. He partners directly with the Calamos Wealth Management investment team to build goals-based, customized investment portfolios, financial plans, and wealth strategies.

Alex has been with Calamos Wealth Management since 2019 and works out of the Chicago regional headquarters. Prior to becoming a Wealth Advisor, Alex was a member of Calamos Wealth Management’s investment team, where he specialized in building client portfolios with a focus on aligning client goals with their tax-specific situations. He also analyzed alternative investments and designed portfolio performance reports.

Before joining CWM, he worked as a market investment strategy consultant with a focus on the real estate Industry. Alex also spent six years serving in various roles for renowned art galleries and museums. During that time, he developed a deep understanding of the art market, including trend forecasting, valuation, and investment opportunities within the emerging art realm.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has completed coursework for the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) Designation. He holds an active Series 65 license.
