Maged Ebeid is Vice President, Senior Director of IT and Head of Calamos Wealth Management Technology. With over two decades of experience, Maged Ebeid has established himself as a distinguished technology executive in the financial services sector. Known for his collaborative approach, he bridges the gap between business objectives and technological capabilities, creating innovative solutions that drive organizational growth while maintaining efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Maged oversees all CWM Technology systems and spearheads CWM technology initiatives, Calamos website design, development, CRM implementation, sales systems, and technical architecture, while providing enterprise-wide support. His philosophy centers on tackling complex challenges through innovative thinking, creative problem-solving, and teamwork.

As former Technology Head for BMO Bank Wealth Management in the US, he managed a substantial budget. His accomplishments included leading the platform migrations of Trust & Investment business and Brokerage business, digital transformation of BMO Family Office, modernizing their platform to the cloud through AWS, Java, Springboot, and Angular. He also directed Global Wealth CRM initiatives, successfully migrating Salesforce Orgs to Financial Services Cloud, and led the integration of Bank of The West wealth systems following its acquisition. He also pioneered AI initiatives for Wealth CRM, including Call Transcription and Sentiment Analysis.

Maged holds a Master’s in Computer Science from DePaul University and an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management. He leads by example, engaging his team while delivering innovative solutions to every challenge.
