Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer

Jon Adams is the Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Calamos Wealth Management. With over twenty years of investment experience in multi-asset portfolio management, Jon brings a depth of expertise and a strong client-centric approach to his role. Previously, Jon was in the “Global Wealth at Work” division of Citi Private Bank, where he was responsible for the delivery of comprehensive investment strategies to legal industry professionals.

Prior to joining Citi, Jon served as the Managing Director and Head of U.S. Multi-Asset Solutions at BMO Global Asset Management for seven years. In this role, he managed various investment strategies, including target risk funds, model portfolios, and target date funds. Jon also designed and implemented custom multi-asset strategies for outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) clients. Before BMO, Jon spent twelve years at UBS Asset Management, where he was a Portfolio Manager and voting member of the Asset Allocation Committee, and Deputy Head of Currency.

Jon is well-versed in media interactions and has appeared on notable platforms such as Bloomberg and CNBC. His insights and expertise have been sought after by both television and print media outlets, further establishing him in the field.

Jon holds an M.B.A. in Analytic Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from Valparaiso University. Jon Adams is a CFA® charterholder.
