Joseph P. Nader

Head of Calamos Wealth Management

Joseph Nader is Head of Calamos Wealth Management, reporting directly to the CEO of the Calamos organization. He is also a member of the Calamos organization’s senior leadership team and is a member of the Calamos Wealth Management Investment Committee. In addition to his oversight responsibilities, Joe also works directly with select high net worth individuals and families and maintains deep relationships with institutions, trusts, endowments, and foundations.

Prior to joining Calamos Wealth Management, Joe held senior roles at major international financial services firms, was the Chief Investment Officer for a substantial family office, and served as Chief Investment Officer of the largest regulated private trust company in the state of Florida.

Joe’s extensive involvement with the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital for over a decade has led to multiple roles of responsibility and oversight at this esteemed institution. Joe currently serves as: Vice-Chair of the Hospital’s Board Of Directors; Chair of the Hospital’s Investment Committee entrusted with oversight of the Hospital’s endowment and retirement plan assets; Chair of the Hospital’s Finance Committee with governance responsibility for all matters involving the hospitals resources; and is a Committee Member with oversight responsibility for compensation and compliance matters.

Joe earned an M.B.A. from American University in Washington, D.C. and holds the Uniform Registered Investment Advisor license. As an Adjunct Professor for Florida International University’s International M.B.A. program, Joe taught a course on analysis of financial instruments. He has authored articles and participated in numerous roundtables and speaking engagements on subjects ranging from financial planning to investment management.
